Sed was among the most important gods, associated with the strength of the king, justice, and balance. 

He was better known as Wepwawet which means "the opener of ways" According to Heliopolitan recordswe was also identified as Horus the a sky god. 

Based on Mesopotamia cuneiform tablets he may be linked to their harvest god Abu. Sed, was known as The Lord of Love, King of the Living, and Lord of the gods.
